On 2 November 2003, lots of morris dancers gathered in Trafalgar Square to celebrate Schedule 1 Part 2, Clause 11 of the Licensing Act 2003, which was inserted after much lobbying to exempt traditional dancing from the licensing regime. The much more colourful Gog Magog Molly turned up, too. It was the only way to discover whether they were allowed not to have beards!
