I got involved in wedding photography by being talked into being an official wedding photographer a few times by friends. My approach is fairly informal, and is often described as a reportage style. Since everyone is always so happy with the results, and I rather enjoy it, I changed my policy, and am now willing to accept commissions.
My approach is rather different to that of most other professional wedding photographers in the UK: I charge a reasonable amount for the time I spend taking and processing the pictures, rather than charging ridiculous amounts for prints, or forcing you to buy a package with an expensive album. Because of this, I am willing to give you the negatives or high-resolution digital files.
Please note: I am not accepting any bookings in the UK beyond October 2005, as I'm planning on leaving the country. If you like my style of photography, I would recommend talking to Tom Catchesides & Helen Bartlett and Jean-Luc Benazet.
These pictures are from a few weddings I have covered, starting with the most recent. If you're looking for a particular wedding, and can't see it here, you could try searching by month, as weddings shot mostly on film generally don't appear here.

Sally and Mark had already booked a wedding photographer, but liked my low-light work so much that they booked me as well, just to cover the evening festivities. The reception was at Magdelene College in July 2004, and they were punted away at the end of the night!
Liz and Martin's marriage blessing service was held in Christ's College chapel in July 2004. The weather was rather unkind, so alas they couldn't hold the whole reception outdoors as planned.
Teenie & Taro got married in June 2004 in the beautiful Pembroke Lodge on the hill in Richmond Park. At the last moment, Teenie's parents were unable to make it, so her brother stood in as "father of the bride". There was also a big thunderstorm during the afternoon, so most of the photographs are indoors.
Christine & Taro asked me to photograph their wedding on film, so only a small selection of the images is available online.
Lucy and Matt got married in May 2004. They asked me to photograph their wedding using film, so only a few of the several hundred pictures can be seen here.
Dav and Sam got married in March 2004 in Corpus Christi College Chapel, then had their reception in Girton College. It being a winter wedding, it was far too cold outside, so most photographs were taken indoors.
Jo and Tony got married on 24 August 2003 in Downing College, Cambridge. It was my first Jewish wedding, and lots of fun.
Miho & Tim celebrated their wedding at an outdoor ceremony at Eaton Manor, near Church Stretton in Shropshire, on 19 July 2003.
